Heart&Stroke 7 Summits Challenge

The Everest Challenge ? go the extra distance

If you like the idea of Heart&Stroke 7 SummitsTM but are looking for an extra level of challenge, then you may wish to consider the Everest Challenge. The Everest Challenge will take a small group of Toronto's business leaders up a total of 37 ascents and a combined vertical distance of 29,000 ft. (8,840 m) equal to the height of Mt. Everest. This is achieved by climbing the towers 5 times each and 2 of the towers once more.

Rocco Rossi, former CEO of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, will lead an elite group of 12 ambitious climbers on the expedition over 4 days. The Everest Challenge is for those who crave a unique physical challenge and have a desire to take their fundraising to the next level each climber is required to raise a minimum of $10,000 for life-saving AEDs to participate in this unique element of Heart&Stroke 7 SummitsTM.

The Everest Challenge Schedule:

Day 1 Thursday, February 19 10 ascents 7am - 11am
Day 2 Friday, February 20 10 ascents 7am - 11am
Day 3 Saturday, February 21 10 ascents 7am - 11am
Day 4 Sunday, February 22 7 ascents 8am - 1pm (main 7 Summits schedule)
