Thank you for supporting the Heart and Stroke Foundation - Ontario. By contributing to the Heart & Stroke 7 Summits Challenge, you are helping save lives through the placement of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) throughout The District of Nipissing. We have had three saves in our district thanks to the NBPPA Lifeline initiatives and partnership of the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario. We have also delivered CPR Awarness Programs in with the Families and Friends CPR Anytime kits which have proven to be beneficial to our communities. Last spring during EMS week the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario supplied us with 200 kits for our use. The Paramedics of the Nipissing district delivered these kits to grade five students and challenged them to share their new found knowledge with families and friends. The outcome was fantastic with the 200 kits distributed we were able to reach 700 people who now have a basic knowlege on how to perform CPR and help to save a life. If you choose to sponsor me during this event all proceeds that I raise in the district will come back to the district in form of AED placements and CPR Awarness Programs.
